Mark's Story
My story? Maybe just some highlights.
In High School, I spent my time visiting with friends, going to GEMS Comic Book store in Elmhurst, spending time in the Computer Lab, and wishing I could get a pretty girl to go out to dinner with me.
Now days, I spend my time visiting with friends, going to GEMS Comic Book store in Elmhurst, work on computers, PBX systems, & WAN/LAN's, and I always have dates with my beautiful wife.
I have stayed very close with several people from High School.

Kept in touch with many others, but I see those folks on a regular basis.
Maintaining these freindships has been very rewarding.
Started my career in Telecommunications in 1991 working for Comdisco. Flew around the country installing large phone systems.
In '94 started working for a local company maintaining phone systems through out Chicago and the suburbs. One of our accounts was the State of Illinois Corrections Depart...Expand for more
ment. I was at Stateville the evening of John Wayne Gacy's execution, to make sure the phone lines were operational in case of that last minute call from the Govenor. I had a pair of wire cutters ready, just in case.
Married in '96, divorced in '01, no children. Much longer story to that, but I think that is all I need to put here.
Started working for Crate & Barrel in '99, they had been one of my customers for a few years. As their business was growing, they needed a Telecom Manager and I hopped on board.
I started participating in Triathlons in 2000.
Lots of Sprint Distance, lots of Olympic distance, and one Half-Ironman event.
Not sure if I'm ever going to have the desire to go after a full Ironman Triathlon.
Remarried in '04, still going strong, still no kids, but not giving up.
My wife is from San Jose, CA. So we get out to the west coast a couple of times a year to visit her family.
If we knew each other "back in the day", I hope that you are well in the world and feel free to send a message my way.
