That’s my life everyday now…I’m having more fun than should be allowed at this point in my life.
I have found an amazing woman (actually she found me and waited…and waited…and waited…and waited years for me to notice). Now we live every day to take care of each other (kind of like a big net that will never let you slam into the ground). If we didn’t need to earn money, we would never be apart. Good friends and family are everywhere…California, Nevada, Idaho, Michigan, Ohio, New York, Tennessee, Colorado, Georgia, Alabama, Minnesota, South Carolina, Oregon, Texas…when we get together, they inspire me (some of them daily) and remind me how to be a good example to the children with whom I now have the privilege to share life’s lessons.
I get to play drums in a band that pays tribute to the music of AC/DC (who doesn’t know that music?) It’s loud, fun, timeless…I go back 25 years every time I hit the stage…priceless! It’s taken a long time to find a good group of humans to perform with (since my time in the Proud Mary Band) and I don’t take it for granted. I’ve been fortunate to meet most of my musical influences, become friends with a few of them and also to watch a few friends rise to the top of the music industry. The influence of music in my life has been amazing.
Yup, things are good.
