Mark's Story
Life
After serving in the US Army in Europe, I settled in the Seattle Area. I earned a BA in Slavic Languages and Literature at the University of Washington in 1989. During the 1990s I did a great deal of work translating for refugees from the former Soviet Union.
I currently work for King County as a transit supervisor.
I finished work on my MBA in August 2007.
I enjoy foreign...Expand for more
language study, cross-cultural activities and travel. I speak Russian well and have studied German & Czech. My travels have taken me to Southern Germany (Augsburg & region), the Russian Far East & Siberia.
I like music by Bach, Vivaldi, Spanish Guitar, Kenny G., Bruce Springsteen. Books: Russian Literature, Tom Clancy.
I've joined Toastmasters International. It's a great club!
