Mark's Story
Since Skyline I have become a barber . This profession has been interesting and rewarding . Since it is a profession that is very public I have met a lot of interesting people from all walks of life . Some of them famous , but we’re not . It’s been fun . I’ve lived in Hunt County , Texas full time for 36 years. Prior to moving into to county on a full time basis , I was a weekender . My dad bought property in the Caddo Mills area in 1978 and he, Mom and I spent our weekends there until Dad’s death in August of 1979 . e there for couple of years and then we returned about 1983 and Mom and I made Caddo Mills our permanent home and I built a log home next door to her house and my aunt and uncle moved next door to me . Mom passed away in March of 1991 . My uncle passed in 2002 and my aunt in 2007. From 2008 - 2009 I fought and survived Non -Hodgkin Lymphoma and am still in what the doctors call a remission , but I believe that The Lord cured me outright ! I am still in business . I recently moved down to Lake Tawakoni so that I can get some extra fishing in . That’s my story.
