Mark's Story
Well........ I guess I will start where most of us left off. After CAHS I became an engineer who eventually traded in my pocket protector and slide rule for a laptop! After trying the technical route and getting bored, I went into sales and found my calling! I floated around professionally for many years and got to see alot of the world. My "specialty" is the making and shaping of steel and the equipment and control systems to make it happen.
Those of you who graduated with me should be told that Pam did eventually become my wife, but, it did not last. After a short marriage we parted and I found my true love, Susie! We have 2 beautiful kids and they are both pursuing their studies and getting ready to support themselves.
My only rule is that I have to see the beach at least once a year (and flying over it doesn't count!)! In between our beach trips, Susie and I love to haul our pop-up camper out for nice relaxing weekends. All and all, life is good and I am enjoying it all. I had such a good time at our recent 35th reunion (Sep. 2007) and am looking forward to our 40th coming up. I love to hear from old friends and acquaintances. I am also up for new ones too!
Update, June 2013: Stll going strong! Kids ar...Expand for more
e still in school, but now it is Grad School! Natalie is halfway through Medical School and Greta is just starting Law School. We had a great time at the 40th Reunion (almost a year ago now) and are getting ready to enjoy the All Class Reunion in Boyce Park in August, 2013.
Update Sept. 2015: I'm retired and love it! Working on my golf game (which will take a long time) and enjoying taking care of my better half (still working and giving me my benefits) and the house. Our first summer with both of us off was wonderful! Lots of camping, swimming, walking, visiting. Looking forward to football season and lots of tailgating! Natalie has started her Residency in Family Medicine and is close by (1.5 hrs by car) and we are enjoying seeing her more. Gret is in her final year of Law School and we hope there will be Intellectual Property positions available for her. Find me on Facebook and say hello!
Update: July 31, 2022
Life is good, still! Susie has 1 more school year and she will retire. Then things are gonna change! We have 2 grand girls, Isla-16 months in Chattanooga and Sloan-2months in Detroit. Nolan is expected in Nov (Chattanooga). These are really good times! Can’t wait to see our class in 21 days at Edgewood!
