Brenda's Story

Life Hi everyone! Well, I've covered a lot of ground since '74! Spent 3 yrs. in the Marines (even made Sergeant!), worked for the phone company in Oceanside for 7 yrs., moved back to Exeter in '85, then to Texas in '94. I'm now a Correctional Officer with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. Been working there since '97. lfway between Amarillo and Lubbock)with my husband Mark. Finally found a "keeper"! He's a guard, too, and a good ol' country boy. Have 2 grown daughters: Jennifer-32, lives in Atlanta & Leslie-28, lives about 45 mi. from here. She's married and has a little girl-"little" Jennifer, born on Feb. 26, 2000. Wind farm just south of old Witcher home place. Silverton Texas.
Lake Theo at Caprock Canyon is only about 5 feet from going over the spillway ! it was literally 25 normal steps from the pavement to the edge of the water!
The swimming area is even full again!
The boat ramp is back in water and the little dock has water lapping at the bottom of it!
The Pier has water only three and a half to 4 feet below the boards!
Not a high quality picture, but...blood moon!
