Mark's Story
Elementary/High School:
I attended Brightwood Elementary School in Monterey Park from 1965 thru 1974. Afterwards, I enrolled at Cantwell Catholic High School in Montebello from 1974-1975. In 1975, I transferred to Alhambra High School.
College/Graduate School:
In 1982, I enrolled at East Los Angeles College (ELAC) in Monterey Park, graduating with an Associate of Arts degree (cum laude) from ELAC in 1984, and transferred to USC shortly thereafter. ocial Sciences (Speech). I attended Law School in 1988 at Whittier College. Subsequently I enrolled in a master's degree program at USC in 1990 to pursue a graduate degree in Public Administration. In 1994, I graduated with a Master of Public Administration degree from USC.
Career/Personal:
I enjoyed a professional career in Municipal Government for over 27 years, retiring in 2017 as the Assistant to the City Manager for the City of Santa Ana.
I currently live with my fiancé Rose Ann in Lake Forest, CA and seasonally in Ruidoso, New Mexico located in the beautiful Lincoln National Forest!
