2 years in Europe bumming around after Highschool, lucky me, talk about travel spreading your horizon...
Now I've been a tour guide for package motorcoach tours mostly in the Western US, doing the LA, Pheonix, LV, BRyce, Zion, Yosemite, SF, back to LA 14 day tours in GErman, and/or English. Thanks to Ms. Glascock and "On Location" & that crazy 3 week trip to the Southwest in '78 put me on path to a long career in Hospitality and Travel Services. TT NAKED under the water fall & on the rocks at Zion's Emerald Pool after three days in the dessert with no shower. The look on the Ranger and his Nature Walk tourists as they arrived to see the beautiful falls with 25 California Highschool kids naked is something I never forget!!!
Live in SF's Potrero Hill area for a zillion years now, and love it. Mom's still on Lucky Drive...
Saw Claudia Osborne in Tacoma, WA with her very nice hubby three weeks ago after 25 years! It was great seeing her and going thru the Redwood yearbook reminiscing... I must be getting the nostalgia itch after almost 30 years since Redwood. More to follow...
