Mark's Story
Wow high school was 40 years ago! We are getting old...LOL. after Granby I went to Virginia Tech and got a degree in mechanical engineering because I always liked to tinker with mechanical things. Been pretty successful at that, got a few patents on some neat stuff, and retired out of my first job a few years ago. Now I'm working part time with my second engineering job, in the twilight of my career now, passing along some of the specialty skills I have acquired by helping train/mentor younger engineers to take my place. still kind of nerdy with glasses, but my spaghetti arms and bony rib cage have filled out though.
Enjoying having more time now for hobbies like cycling, amateur radio, weight lifting, tower climbing, shooting, photography, and oh yes I still play the 5-string banjo. Who wants to hear Foggy Mountain Breakdown? LOL
I have lost touch with everybody from those good old days in the 70's at Granby. Would be nice to hear from some of you. Who else remembers the swim team that no one else wanted to join in 78/79? Weren't we something?!
