Mark's Story
My name is Mark J.Malin.
I taught in Providence for 28 years.It was something that I wanted to do since I was 14 years old.
Teaching is a rewarding profession.When students understand what`s being taught and do their best is the greatest thing that an educator can accomplish.
I enjoyed my job so much that I had perfect attendance at Nathan Bishop Middle School for a total of 20 years;including 18 years in a row.
I also went to Bishop as a student when it was a junior high school.

I was nominated by one of my students for Who`s Who Among America`s Teachers in 1994.
Some of my hobbies include donating blood,sportswatching old TV shows, art museums,,reading,tutoring,speaking to classes about the value of an education,flea markets,collecting belt buckles,walking,volunteering,listening to the music from the 1950`s through the early 1980`s.I have won contests on the radio for my knowledge of the 1960`s music.Hopefully '60s music will be played at the reunion.Maybe,they`ll be some contest to win prizes for us to enter.
