Mark's Story
Life
I am married with two kids and live in Clarksville, Maryland which is about 1/2 way between DC and Baltimore. I have a daughter, Stephanie, that is 22 and a son, Mark, Jr. who is 18. Steph is a license optician and Mark is waiting until his Dec 1 ship date to the Navy.
Workplace
I am in my 26th year in the insurance/financial services industry.
Military

he Navy and 7 1/2 years in the Naval Reserves. It was a great education for me. I was able to travel to 44 countries in that time and see and do things most people only read about in books. The downside was that I lost contact with all of my old friends back home in WV.
I recommend it for any kid that isn't sure what they want to do with their life. My son is leaving for the Navy on Dec 1, 2009!
