Mark's Story
Life
After HS I went to Texas A&M and upon graduation was commisionned as an Air Force Officer. First assignment was in Del Rio, TX (ugh). Got married while there. Then assigned to Germany for four years, then to teach ROTC at St. Louis University. In 1992 got out of the AF and went to work full-time for the National Guard in Oklahoma City. rently in product marketing for AT&T. Continued as a weekender in the Air National Guard until 2002, and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. Had a daughter, Katie, in 1990. She is currently a freshman at Texas A&M. Got divorced in 1998 (Katie lives with me), remarried in 1999 to Rene, and I'm happier than I've ever been in my life. We do a lot of traveling, especially cruising, and we also have a 32 foot travel trailer we use for camping trips. Life is good!
