Mark's Story

Life After not doing to well in High School! I joined the Marines 81-85, and traveled a lot Japan, Korea, Philippines,... I needed the discipline and structure of the Marines. After I got out, I went straight to college at CCSU. I met Kathy Kurimay again, Hall High class of 79. We had known each other since the 4th grade at Smith elementary, but never hung out together. We married in 1988, have 3 children, 1 boy and 2 girls. We live in West Hartford, my son is a freshmen at Conard, hopefully none of his teachers will remember me, some were at Hall when I was there. gh school! Kathy was invited to the 20 year class reunion, I wasn't, but I was allowed to attend by default due to our marriage :) I did receive one for the class of 81! I'm a software engineer, but I still have a 1965 Pontiac GTO, I've had it since 1979. It's currently being restored, so one of my kids will have to join the military, no college due to the cost! So I'm still a gear-head at heart! Wow, it's benn a few years, my son is a freshman at UCONN, I'm very proud,... and one of my daughters is now a Senior at Conard , So I will be officialy broke at our 30th reunion,...if my wife incites me!
