After graduating from Weymouth North, I did a year as a post grad at Williston Northhampton School in East Hampton, MA, and then went on to Columbia University in NYC. I graduated from Columbia, married my wife, Beverly, and moved to Providence, RI in 1980. That year I commuted back and forth from Providence to work for the Town of Weymouth as a Housing Rehab Specialist. In 1981, I went to work for Providence Housing Authority as their Rental Assistance Program Administrator. While working at the PHA, I attended law school at night together with Bev at NE School of Law. During those busy times, I was promoted to Director of Modernization and Development and Bev and I had our son, Greg and then our daughter, Lauren. Bev graduated and passed the Bar in RI in 1986 and me in 1988. I continued to work for the PHA and became its General Counsel in 1996. This Aug. is 31 years at the PHA. robate and bankruptcy type matters. Our kids have made us very proud; Greg and his wife, Jen, (a real sweet-heart) both graduated from Brown University and then U. of Rochester Medical School; they are both doctors doing their residency in internal medicine at Yale University Hospital. Lauren graduated from Providence College and is finishing her third year of med school at U. of Rochester Med School and her husband, Bret Rousell, is finishing his third year as a Med Student at Robert E. Woods Johnson Medical School.
While the kids were growing up I discovered the joys of digital photography. Although I can't give up the day job(s) just yet (got to pay those med school bills -lol), photography is my avocation and passion. I enjoy shooting all kinds of events, pageants, fashion shows, parties, weddings and people! Some samples of my work can be found at: 'modphoto.smugmug.com' and some on my FB account. I enjoy when I run into or hear from old friends and acquaintances but forgive me if I struggle a little with my memory of names.
