Mark's Story

Life Suprise, I still live in the Redding area. I have a job which takes me to foreign countries to work on woodworking machinery but seldome have time to really enjoy the places I visit. I work for a place in anderson called Voorwood and really enjoy my job. I do hope some day to slow down enough to have a real life! Check out the web for Voorwood co ,technicians Workplace Well I think I followed the path of most of my renegade friends. I worked at a lumber mill in anderson called Blue Mountain Pine while finishing up high school in anderson. The next real job was in Phoenix,AZ. ter beds. I moved back and forth for the next few years from Redding to Phoenix. I came back to the Redding area in 89 to work with my father producing furniture. We were forced to close the business after the quake in SFO. Our business was directly affected due to our primary customers were located below the bridge that colapsed. After we closed I went to work in Redding for Cal Electro as an apprentice electrition. Shortly there after I came to work for Voorwood Co. in anderson. I am a field technician and now travel the globe working with machinery and training people how to safely operate these machines. I am learning programming for the new CNC type equipment and will probably be here for the next 13 years.
