Mark's Story
Life
Retired from the Post Office. Moved to Olive Branch,MS. Still married, 40 yrs. 2 kids, 4 grand kids. November 1, 2007 finally hired for head maintenance position at elementary
school in Southaven, MS. Great job, 8 hours a day, great
pay and people to work for and with. They'll have to run
me off.
Sept. 17, 2008, new grandson born, Nathaniel Owen Roler(Nate),Jan. 2011. another new grandson, William Everett Roler(Will)
Military
Joined the USAF in Aug 71 and went to Basic Training at Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX. Didn't get to go to Tech sc...Expand for more
hool(Law Enforcement), and was sent Direct Duty Assignment to George AFB, Victorville, CA. March 73 got orders to Taegu AB, South Korea. May 74 got orders to go to Duluth AFB, MN. Hated it and the winter was really bad. One good thing, Laura, my daughter was born Dec 14,
74. Sept 75 got orders back to Lackland AFB, this time
to be an instructor in the Tech school that I couldn't
attend after basic training. Loved it, it was great, and my son was born March 26, 1977. Honorably Discharged
Feb 23, 1979. Went to work for the Post Office Apr 16, 1979.
