Mark's Story
I have a small confession. While many of those who remember me knew my religious up-brining as a Jehovah's Witness, I strayed and found my spirituality as a free spirit. I don't mean this as some new-ager, but an truly independent of any single religion. The closest religious tenet I found that meet my seeking God, is to lose God from how one is raised and seek it independently, as is said by the Bahai's. So I sought for myself different sects of Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Hinduism, read a book by an American Indian shaman, Wiccans, and even had a couple of conversations with a witch doctor priestess. eren't in the religion, only the radicals who lost the whole scriptures and nitpicked what matched their compulsions.
I don't believe that the grand spirit Master, the one called God, is a male or female, so I will not call it He or She. Nor will I give It any other indication of a personality by any of the Names people have given so no Jehovah, Yaweh, Allah, or even Wantantanka -- because we think we know what God, by those names will do or feel, or treat us, our friends or enemies.
I will be posting here some of my religious comments that I have put out, and any more new one that will come to mind.
So beware folks of what I will say. I'm not your daddy's preacher anymore.
