My Life I'm now known as Mark Turner which is my given name. Swendemen was my step-fathers name. I've lived in Colorado since graduating HS, divorced twice with 4 great kids including twin boys. My oldest boy served 4 years in the Marines, including 8 months in Iraq-when it all started. Nerve wracking let me tell you! He made it home safe, only to enlist in the Air National Guard and then spend a few months more in Iraq. At least the 2nd time around he wasn't crawling around the desert getting shot at. I'm on my third career, my first one was in wholesale beverages where I was a District Sales Mgr when I got fed up and quit. Then I tried small business ownership-Didn't pay very well. Now I'm in technology. My first high tech job was at the company associated with the Jon-Boniot Ramsey murder in Boulder Colorado from many years back. Amazing that still makes the news once in awhile, in Colorado anyway. My first week was when the murder occurred. I stayed almost 12 years. Started there in the Marketing Dept. and eventually moved to Technical Support and eventually into management. Several years later I was running the entire Technical Support/Professional Services Dept. My last job there was as Director of Information Technology. I left when they were bought out and I declined a new position in Phoenix - it's just too damn hot down there!
