Mark's Story
Hi this is Mark White and I have been doing pretty good. I had a tragic thing happen after I graduated in 1982. In March of 1983 my stepfather had killed my mother and my life was turned upside down. That year was the worst year of my life. I was in a downward spiral and my dad had kicked me out. All my dreams of making big money working at the studios went in the crapper since the writers and drivers were on strike. So nothing but layoffs. So the next year I went in the Military ( ARMY ). Stayed in for 9 years and traveled to a few places, some by choice and some not. I was at Fort Knox KY. Then off to Oklahoma. What a culture shock coming from California. Then it was off to Germany in 1985. It was exciting over there. I went to Spain 2 months after I arrived in Germany. That was more like it. The kind of beache...Expand for more
s I and most guys like to go to,TOPLESS. That was a beautiful place as well. Then I did a foolish thing and married a German girl at the young age of 21 almost 22. That lasted until last year in 2008. We never had any children and things were not working out the last 5. After the military in 1992 we had moved to Minnesota because she didnt want to live in California. So I have been up here ever since. Freezing my butt off every winter. Its a nice place but I miss the beach and surfing and warm weather. I have a 10 month old son now and it is awesome with alot of work as well. I work at a Bus Manufacturing Plant in St. Cloud MN. We make transit buses for cities across the USA and Canada. We are doing very well and dont see any layoffs any time soon. I work as a Maintenance Technician fixing all kinds of equipment.
