Mark's Story
it doesn't feel long ago ... all the work and fun we lived in school and in the Navy. But the calendar says twenty years... home and family and work and ... Hope all is well with you. I couldn't be more fortunate.
Not always on a perfect path, a few months out of St. Mary's HS and on my own recognizance, San Jose State taught me - more structure might be good and in 1981 I enlisted in the US Navy. Electronics and navigation training in San Diego, Great Lakes, Orlando and Mare Island got me an assignment on the USS Enterprise between 1984 and 1987.
Went to Laney in Oakland, married the best woman in the world, attended UC Berkeley (with better direction) and and graduated in 1992 with a degree in civil engineering.

ce in the San Francisco business department during the bankruptcy. After ten years I took on the full time project of rebuilding our family home from the ground up and that is where I am today with my wife Shawn, our two kids Lauren and Connor and two German Shorthair Pointers.
It would be fun to hear from anyone who was part of the fun and time spent learning and traveling. The coldest winter on record in Milwaukee, The kid with the YZ-80, the cross country drive to Orlando and scuba diving and that AR-15, The apartments in Orlando and Vallejo, the field trips in Hawaii, and PI ... Subic City and Pagsajan Falls. and the ferry in Hong Kong and the Straights of Malaca, Suez Canal and Line of Death and Pakistan Port o'Call. Bishop's Rock and Hunter's Point ...
