Mark's Story
I am proud to have graduated from gbn in 1961.I worked for a year or so after graduating and after that year I went into the Army for 3yrs. After my last school in the states and that was jump school,I went Germany and more schools to get my MOS.I was in Germany for 10mo then on the 27Dec1963, our platoon was called out after work call formation and told to pick up our 201 file get our shots all 12 of them told what to pack in our duffel bag pick up our weapons and wait outside,our transportation was on its way.Ran into Jim Russell when we landed at Bien Hoai Af, base.I was their for 6months and 7days we all went back to Germany to theArmys 97th. general hospital Frankfurt an main.I was in the hospital for 21/2 months.After I got of the hos. a courier for the rest of the time in the army.After I got of the Army I worked at various jobs.I found a job and a company that I really liked and stayed with them for 39yrs.I was married about 5yrs.before going to the phone company.Raised 2 well educated kids my wife was a teacher with a masters degree plus.Retired now trying to figure out is what is going to happen next.I would like to hear from anybody all of you but especially vets.My politics are conservative I am not married now, so I had better go now.If any one takes the time to read this,thanks
