Mark's Story
Life
I have been happily married for over twenty-five years and we were blessed with a wonderful daughter in 1997 during the last patrol of my submarine career on the USS Pennsylvania. Since my retirement from the Navy I have worked in Germany and England as a Winodws-Unix System Administrator/SAN Architect/Network Engineer and have seen more parts of the world as a civilian than my entire twenty year career in the Navy. es of OPRFHS and still follow the Cubs and Bears. I have added the Jaguars to my list of favorite teams, as well as Manchester United and the England International squad in soccer.
I have completed four marathons (Edinburgh, Dublin, London, Baltimore) and three half marathons (Selby, Greater Langdale, Newcastle) while living in England. I completedthe Baltimore Marathon in the fall of 2008 and set a new PR. I am not fast, but I am persistent!
