Mark's Story
Stayed in SA after school. Went to SAC intermittently. Worked various construction jobs and eventually fell into a manager position at Wolfe Nurseries.
Left that to become a technical illustrator for Fairchild Aircraft. Have stayed in aviation-related tech illustration and ventured into graphic design and computer graphics.
I am currently working for Northrop Grumman as a draftsman, or as we like to say, Global Aerospace Defense Systems Engineering Digital Graphics Support. Not as cool as it sounds, but pays well...
Involved in Texas archaeology (through my dad) both as an avocational and as a PI. For that I lived in a line shack near Wimberley and conducted archaeological investigations for 3 months in the winte...Expand for more

Played drums for a variety of local rock and CW bands on and off.
Had an altercation with a rattlesnake in 1978. Classic story of long snake v short stick. Got knicked enough to scar up my left index finger pretty well. Glad he was not real serious about killing me.....
Been married twice. Had a daughter with number one.
Traveled a bit to Germany, Sicily, Jamaica, Mexico, and Cuba.
Recently got back into my 'analog' art (as a nonprofit gig), and have been doing shows and galleries here and in Austin. My art site is: kohnitz.art or Art by Kohnitz on FB.
Retired and living in Spring Branch and enjoying life with my lady, Laura.
