Mark's Story
Life
Married for 41 years, with two sons and three grandkids. Worked for El Rancho Markets in Phoenix for 15 yrs after High School. Went back to ASU and received my accounting degree in 1984. I am a CPA living in Edmond Oklahoma, Worked for KPMG in OKC for 5 years in the tax department. I retired from USA Softball after 27 years as their CFO in 2020. I miss the good old days in Phoenix. Went back to PHX in January 2022 to attend the Barrett Jackson car auction. Man has PHX changed.
What I remember about East High:
I remember 2 a day football practices. Joey Craig breaking his arm, Crazy legs Boone, coaches not giving us water. Specifically Feddie Queis breaking my face mask and...Expand for more
making me see stars. It was man up time and to all you guys it was the best of times. You all were my friends for the whole 4 years.
I remember walking around the Quad trying to look cool.
I remember Bruce Roybinsky doing a massive burn out in his brothers corvette behind the Auto Shop after Mr. Rosenbluth told him not to. That was the best Bruce!!!
I remember dances after football games. Those were fun.
I remember Mr. Ecklands "Easy Test" and having to recite "Men in the Ranks". He was a little different.
I want my 66 Chevelle SS396 back.
