Mark's Story

Life has changed so much in the last few years but God has richly blessed me with good health and a wonderful life. I still am the same fun loving guy and still have the passion for play and for people. I have refused to get old and have tried hard to keep time in a bottle. Sometimes it works, sometimes it don't - :) Some of you may remember that in 1967 (I think), those of us that lived on the east side of Central Exp and the south side of Forest Lane got redistricted and were slated for Lake Highlands. Because my sister Chere was a senior at RHS, they allowed me to stay at RHS and finish out rather than transfer to Lake Highlands. track of them the last two years of high school. Man, there were a mess of us in that neighborhood. Mark Lawson (all of his siblings) Ted Atchley Rodney and Ricky Westbrook Bill and Bob Wainner David Cooper Many more We had a great time back then. We all hung out together. A lot of those guys still remain friends. I miss them and do not see them very often at all. Mark and Ted and Billy and Benny Hines and a bunch of others all played softball for some 20 + years as the "Cat Daddy's". I had the pleasure of joining them for a few years. I still stay in shape and have done okay keeping healthy. I think we were so blessed to have had the good times we did. It's so different now.
