11/26/09 Update
I moved to North Boulder in July 09', experienced a summer of awakening on many levels. Started a new job (lighting and energy consultant)in Denver in October, right by Coors Field, small town boy is enjoying the big city, so much energy. Just finished coaching my U15G soccer team to their best season ever, possible promotion next fall, drafted my boys team for the spring, loads of talent, really looking forward to what other intangibles I can bring out of them as soccer players and young men. Current favorite activities are making connections with random people, deep conversations to include nuclear physics, trans-generational dna programming, quitting walls st. to start a bakery raise a child and experience life, medical marijuana now and what's on the horizon in the treatment of pain, 11 years as a monk studying and meditating with the dalai lama- a beautiful gift he brings to the world with his music, having the universe along with space time explained to me as well as how we are all woven together experiencing this existence together, plus plenty of other simple people sharing sage advice and common wisdom ideals. Hanging out with my kids, being a teacher to them as life begins to expand and seem more complicated in their adolescent minds. Serving others in whatever way I can.

I've been living just outside of Boulder, CO for 8 years with my beautiful wife of 16 years Beth, son Jack (13), daughter Madison(12), 2 Goldens- Jazzy and Stormy, 2 cats- Pablo and Mia (Yes, my kids are soccer players). I don't get into the foothills as much as I used to, but they (and the entire Rocky Mtn. range) are in my view most of the time. It's nice to be able to see something so spectacular with a twist of the head.
I'm into my Family, Futbol, Good Irish (or Oregon) Whiskey, Mexican food, riding my Concours, Grilling year round, (most) Beer and Golden Tee Live.
My kids play soccer at the Premier 1 level here in Colorado for a club in Boulder (BCForce), Jack's a middie on a top 5 team in the state at U13, works out with the ODP players in the winter. Madi's a keeper for a top 8 team at U12 and loves her team. He's going to Vegas and she to Phoenix for tourneys this winter prior to the spring campaign.
We just got back from a roadie to Tumalo for Thanksgiving week, it was great to be back in OR for the 1st time since 2003, drank all available Black Butte Porter.
Last summer we spent 13 days and 2,900 miles on another trip- Tahoe for a week (spent a couple of days on Kim Fuller's boats- that was awesome). Drove through SFO, down to Aptos (Santa Cruz area) to see friends for a day, drove hwy 1 from Monterrey to Avila Beach another day, spent 4 days in Santa Barbara with family, then hammered back across the desert and mountains on the way home.
Well, there you have it. Me in a nutshell.
