Mark's Story
I'm happily married for 40 years, my wife (Peggy), though when we were first married we were naïve when it came to romance. I blame my dad for that because all he told me about sex was guys were on top and girls on the bottom. So for the first 3 years of our marriage we slept in bunk beds, who knew..) We have two children; Jesse (a boy) 35.. Our daughter, Jayme, is 31 and attending U. Minnesota in Minneapolis. Jesse is married to Sammy no kids just a dog. They live in Wexford PA. Sammy and Jayme has a live-in love interest Jordan.
I've been in Sturgeon Bay WI. since 1976. I was the Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury dealer for 17 years until I sold the dealership in 2003. Since then I've been bouncing around a number of jobs trying to figure what I should do as soon as I grow up, Ha Ha. I love to swim, play golf, and read.
Update: On 7/6/2013 Our son Jesse got married to Samantha Bachman in Madison WI. at 4:400 P.M at the Monona Terrace. The minister did a great job focusing on Jesse and Samantha's love story, plus it was short 24 minutes. The reception was downstairs, the veiw on lake Monona was awesome, the food was great, We had a ...Expand for more
photo booth that took 3 pictures at a time and then one copy was clued on to a scrapbook and another one was given to the people who's picture was taken. We are extremely happy for our son and his wife Samantha.
Had shoulder surgery 3/24/21. Doctor says I can play golf after 3 months, but to protect my shoulder he wants me to use a tee in the fairway. I tell my golfing buddy and he says "Nelson HAVE YOU NO SHAME, are there no limits to the depths that you will sink to just to cheat at golf!" True story. Have a great summer.
My Daughter got married on August 21 2021 on Washington Island. Great Wedding! Still no grandchildren, bummers.
I had a busy couple of weeks, on April 24th took down 50 used and donated bikes to be given to Afghan refugees relocated in Green Bay. On May 7th participated in our Rotary clubs 29th shipyard tour. We netted $23,400.00. Great day.
Peggy, my wife contracted tongue cancer 3 months ago. April 20th she had surgery to remove the tumor. It was successful and Peggy is cancer free. Her recovery will take some time, we are optimistic she will do a great job recovering. Please keep her in your prayers.
