Well let me see. I'll skip most of it, but right now things are kind of interesting! I'm currently working in Iraq as a contractor for the U.S. Army, and yes, it does get a little hairy at times! Nothing makes your day more interesting than having rockets flying over your head! This job is not recommended for the weak at heart! Other than that the rest is pretty boring. I work 12 hours a day/7 days a week so I don't have much free time. I get a vacation every 4 months so my new place to hang out is the Philippines. For you single guys out there I HIGHLY recommend it!! It's a beautiful country, beautiful women and not really expensive. Let's see, what else. ide so I imagine I'll be spending a few bucks customizing that. To bad I'll only get to ride it a few times a year until I leave Iraq! Oh well, such is life! Well that's about the extent of it for now. I have to say though that I really don't miss the US too much, with all it's high prices and not so good wages. The freedom is what I miss the most. It gets old quick being stuck on a military base that you can't leave except to perform your job! And when you or your friends do leave the camp, you never know if you or they will return! It certainly makes you appreciate life a little more! I can honestly say that being in Bosnia in 2000 and in Iraq since 2003 has changed my outlook on life. It's amazing how much you can appreciate running water and a hot shower after not having them for months at a time!
