Life . . . .
If anyone had taken the trouble to ask, I am certain I never would have predicted that twenty years in Alaska was in my future. East Meadow to Syracuse for college, then Santa Clara, California, for law school; 10 years in Los Angeles with the City Attorney's office (married to Barbara Cheresnick, Class of '69, from 1976 to 1984); and living in Anchorage since leaving L.A. My work has been split between defending medical malpractice cases against the government and prosecuting federal crimes since joining the U.S. Attorney's office here. tired after 20 years service in 2004 and had a small private practice trying to support being a "home daddy.
In 2012 I fully retired and moved to Delray Beach, Florida.
I have a ten year old daughter named Rachael whose pictures I have posted instead of mine, and having lost one in 1980, I certainly would call her an accomplishment. She is the focus of my life right now, and since most of you probably have adult or near adult children, I am sure you would get a kick out of the number of times and the differing circumstances strangers have inquired about my gorgeous granddaughter! Keeps me young, but broke my heart to leave her in Alaska during the school year.
