I take great delight in my lovely wife and two beautiful daughters, all of whom are vastly more intelligent than am I. I enjoy the people with whom I work both inside the IRS and out. I try to remain curious and learn new things while still trying to perfect old interests. I love to fly fish for Smallmouth Bass in the Ozarks, or, pretty much anywhere I can find them. I love to travel and experience new things. My latest interests have been to learn the details of my ancestry and Missouri history, especially during the Civil War. I recently submitted a DNA sample for genealogical purpose. I found out that I am a mutt of the highest order and it is likely that some of my ancestors were somewhat less than perfectly virtuous. I detest people who won't challenge their own beliefs or stridently avoid learning the basis of their beliefs. I am a cancer survivor. I have a plan to live forever. So far, it's working.".
