Markita's Story
Lets see..Graduated from HS and stayed single forever. Partied my ass off and met all kinds of people. Got engaged in 1976 and called off the wedding 4 hours before I was to walk down the isle. Kind of a "Runaway Bride". Finally got a job with Uncle Sam and just celebrated my 30th year there August 13th, 2009.
Got married in 1986 and had my first son in 1987 and my second one in 1989. My husband at the time kept asking me for a divorce from about the mid 90's and thought he was threatening me to keep me in line. So, summer of 2007 he ask me for the final time and I said OK. We sepa...Expand for more
rated in May of 2008 and it was final Feb. 2009. I just bought a Harley. Don't know why other than the fact that I figure if I am going out, I will go out in a blaze of Glory!
Over the past 5 years I have lost my brother, my dad and my mom. Only people left of the Kidd family is me and my sister who graduated in 1963. She came back last Sept. 2008 and went to her reunion. Rekindled some old friendships. It was nice for her.
I did not make it to our 40th. Too much on my plate at the time.
Other than that, I am still very tall and blond and actually thinner than I was in High School.
