My Spouse
I met my husband at Patou's, a bar on Bourbon St. I was their for a nursing convention; he was their on vacation.
Workplace
I received a BSN from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing (now a part of Mercer). While in college I worked as an extern at Egleston Children's Hospital on their cystic fibrosis unit and their NICU step-down unit. I moved to Dallas, TX to marry ...Expand for more
my husband. I worked for a year at Baylor- mostly on telemetry, ortho-neuro, oncology, and rarely ICU. For the next four years I worked for a private practice cardiology group. I managed the medical end of two of their clinics. Now I work as an operating room nurse on the heart team- CABG, valve replacements, etc. On days that that I don't have hearts I mostly do gyn, gen., or plastics.
