Marla's Story
After high school I went to UC Irvine and graduated with a BA in Psychology in 1975. I thought I wanted to become a psychologist but lost interest after leaving school. Ended up working in business accounting instead.
I got married the first time in 1978 and lived in Fullerton until my divorce in 1987. Got married again in 1988, hoping this marriage would last, but unfortunately was divorced from my second husband in 2005. I have one daughter, born in 1990 from my second marriage.

I'm finally starting to appreciate being single, although I don't necessarily want to stay that way forever. I have lots of freedom but it gets lonely sometimes. I've spent most of my life caring for my family. Now I can do whatever I want. The hard part is trying to figure out what it is I want.
I spend a lot of time at the gym, trying to reverse the effects of a sedentary lifestyle on my aging body. Recently I trained for and finished my first Half Marathon. I'm not really the athletic type so I also enjoy exercise that is fun, like walking my dogs.
The funny thing is, after all these years, I'm still trying to figure out who I am. I'll let you know when I find the answer.
