Marla's Story

My parents and I left the DC area and moved to Wilmington, NC in November 2018. My folks, who are 93 and 91, live here with me. The weather is better and I work remotely. I graduated from Emory Univ School of Nursing in Atlanta and worked as an ICU/CCU nurse for 14 yrs, then worked in politics for awhile, which was great fun. Since 1997 I’ve been wor...Expand for more
king in the field of medical malpractice law. I work with a Washington, DC law firm, with whom I’ve worked since 2015. I have 3 wonderful sons. One of them went to Heaven in April 2011 at the age of 28.... I miss him every day and look forward to seeing him again one day... My other 2 sons are 41 and 35. I cherish them.
