Marla's Story
Life
After graduating from Hayfield I attended The University of Texas at
Austin where I earned my BA degree. I then moved to Denver where I ran the credit dept for a chain of menswear stores. In 1982, I moved to Southbury, CT where I cared for my mother until her death in 1987. In 1988, I moved to California, where I presently live. t grade for about 8 years, and now teach 5th grade (what was I thinking??). I looked after my father's needs until his death in 2001. I earned my MS graduate degree in 2003. I presently have two dogs named Charlie, a roughcoat Jack Russell, and Mimi, a Boston Terrier (terrorist). Work takes up the majority of my time, otherwise I enjoy doing things with my friends and my dogs.
