Marlee (weber)'s Story
Life
ok, here goes....finished school was accepted into the Air Force, then, worked at Space Tech.bought my first car1956 blue/white Chevy (perfect) then Standard Oil Co. of Calif. downtown L.A. Met my husband Barry, we are married (4l yrs. now) and moved to Ventura, where we raised Son Mike and Daughter Karen and now have 4 Grandchildren. Spent years going to Horse Shows with daughter Karen and Motocross Racing with Husband and Son Mike and We are now retired and enjoying life watching our Grandkids in all their sports, camping with them and traveling when we can. One of the best trips my husband and I have been on, was when we joined 8 other couples and rode (round trip) from Ventura to Lake Louise, Canada on his Harley. Breathtakingly Beautiful ride!! Barry still rides and I drive the RV.(40ft) is sometimes hard to keep up with him!! Our Niece Jennifer and Nephew Bruce are the Star-Singers on the Princess Cruise Ships, which gives us the opportunity to see parts of the world, cruising with them, as "their guests". We truly are blessed... we have our kids and grandchildren all within 10 miles of us, as "They"... are what our life has been all about. When Barry and I are not with our kids, alot of our time is spent touring th...Expand for more
e highways on his Harley along with our friends. Our latest find: Indian Casino's (4) down south, towards San Diego. It's diffinately "cheaper riding bikes",,,,. Over all, (other than being with our kids) our favorite thing to do is get in the RV and just take off, up North, and head across this "Beautiful American Land of Ours!" The Plan for next year is to go back to Alaska. We love to fish and the wild life and scenery there is awsome!! when home, we spend alot of time watching Poker on tv in the evenings and Antique-hunting during the day. Looking back on High School days, was such fun and really enjoyed all my teachers and classes (except Homemaking) I loved being on the Drill Team, the Football Games and Parades, the after-game Dances in the gym. Think if I could do it again though,,
I would try to be alittle more outgoing, not quite so shy! I was a listener, not a talker,,,,,boy! have things changed. Favoriet Teacher, that was Mr. DeSantis
Social Studies, and Senior Probs. I hated to hear the bell ring at the end of his class. He was one of the better teachers. (I also remember the taps on the heel of his shoes.) Want to say "HELLO to all you MUSTANGS",,, OK YOU GUYS,,,,,,, now it's your turn!!!
