Life
Marlena Studer received a B.A. in Sociology from Bowling Green State University in 1981, and a PhD in Sociology from the University of Michigan in 1989. She has published numerous scholarly articles on topics in the Sociology of the Family (Family Violence, Adolescent Sexuality, and Child Care). ...Expand for more
She served on the faculty at Tulane University for nine years, and is now on the faculty of George Washington University. She is working on a book on negotiations in relationships. She sings in her church choir and with a performing ensemble. She lives in Bethesda, MD with her husband and two girls.
