Marlene's Story
I am still living in Roanoke although we are contemplating a move to the North Carolina area in the future in order to be near one of our daughters in our "old age."
I am married to John Pomeroy and have been retired from elementary teaching for the past 7 years. Retirement is GREAT!! Still do a little subbing every now and then.
We love to travel...spent 3 weeks in Italy last September in the Tuscany area...Expand for more
. In March we spent a week in New Orleans. Hopefully a cruise is being planned for February of next year.
I an active in my church...sing in the choir and am a part of a clown ministry there.
John and I have 2 daughters and 6 grandchildren that are the joy of our lives. They have a tendency to keep you young!
