Hi Everyone, I am Marlois (Cain) Keeney. After graduation in 1967 I married and moved to Vancouver, Washington and since my husband worked all over we did a lot of traveling, so I have lived in a lot of places in the Northwest, Alaska, and Hawaii. My husband and I divorced in 1987 and I moved to Hawaii where I met and married my second husband. I am now a widow and live alone in Mountain View, Hawaii. I have had a number of jobs since I moved to Hawaii including being an auto body repair person, carpet cleaner, and working in the lab of a fruit processing plant for my late husband. I then worked for the State Of Hawaii at a correctional facility as the Captain's secretary for a number of years until my doctors ruled me as disabled because of a heart condition and a number of other conditions. I now make Lampwork Glass Beads. I melt glass rods with a two fuel (oxygen & propane) torch and form glass beads into different shapes. I have sold my beads (mostly hearts) on eBay since 2003. I love making beads even though they are not selling so well on eBay at the present time (the economy, I think). I do sell my finished work (making my beads into necklaces, key chains, and such) locally.
