Marlon's Story

Life I left AHS to work on an engineering degree and joined the Anniston Police Dept to support my studies. With the difficulties in both working and school, I joined the Marine Corps for an electronics education. I was promoted through Sergeant and was commissioned an Officer. My goal was to spend a few years in the military and use the GI Bill to fininsh an engineering degree at MIT. Bef...Expand for more
ore I realized, I was a Major at the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey CA, and had my Masters in Engineering. I ended up spending 28 years in the Marine Corps and retired a Colonel. I've been around the world and seen things I will never forget as well as some I wish I could forget. I now live in Pinehurst, NC, golfing capital of the US, with my grandchildren around me. Life has been good
