Life So here we are, 40 years later. How about that! 2009 update: My retirement has not been a traditional one. To be more specific; I think it's been revoked! Haha My husband & I have ADOPTED our granddaughter & her half brother. They have been with us for almost two and a half years. They are currently ages 6 & 9. So . . . I'm back into PTA, Birthday Parties, homework, sports, cartoons, colorful Band-aids, mac-n-cheese, lots of laundry, and whining; all the fun stuff! Haha. Actually I love it a lot. My retirement travels include Disney Land, Marine World, Lego Land, various zoos, Pumpkin Patches, parks, etc. My own grownup kids are both in So. Cal. Son is married. Daughter single. Both doing well professionally. Neither have children yet. To sum it up, I'm healthy, happy, and busy. I just wish life would slow down a little. It seems to go by so fast! Hope to see you at the reunion! Update:2005 Okay, I survived the big 50! I got married in 2002. Became a grandma on my husband's side a few months later. Also retired the end of 2002. Having a great time with all my "free" time! Our little sweetie lived with us for two years but has returned to her mom. We still see her on weekends.My role as grandma gives me incredible joy!
