Marlyn's Story
Life
I was married for the first time in 1958, and that marriage lasted for almost 35 years when my husband died. I had worked with him in several of his businesses. I sold the last business after he died and temporarily retired. I went back to work a year and a half later as a Vacation Planning Specialist for American Airlines Flyaway Vacations and worked there for about 2 and one half years. They closed their Albuquerque office in the fall of 1997, and asked me to move to Tulsa, OK, which I declined. I decided to try retirement again.

ngle for 6 years when I met and married my second husband, Dr. Alan Diehl. He is a research psychologist who has seen service with the NTSB, FAA, US Navy, and the USAF. His field of expertise is Human Factors and Ergonomics. He is currently getting ready to retire from the USAF, but is now working as an expert witness for law firms in the field of aviation accidents.
Thus, we are looking forward to a more leisurely life and doing some traveling.
We're both looking forward to my 50th class reunion in California and his 45th reunion in Florida.
