Marni's Story
Life
After graduation Abby, I worked full time while attending FVC. After graduating from FVC I worked in Vancouver for a law firm and then for a national heavy equipment supplier. In 1995 I landed a job with an international company working as their office administrator for the Western Provinces. I got to travel all over Canada. Then I met my husband.
On a dare from a friend, I enrolled in a singles club on-line. My husband and I corresponded via emails for 2 months prior to our first date. We dated for 4 months and then got engaged. We were ...Expand for more
married in 1999. The ongoing joke in our family is that I had to look outside of Abbotsford to find myself a good old mennonite boy. (My husband is from Richmond). We had our first child in the Fall of 2000.
I am currently working in an chiropractic clinic in Vancouver. I love the job. Our clients are from all over the world, so I get to meet a lot of very interesting people from politicians to royalty.
I guess you could say I have finally settled down - husband, child, work, etc. No more late nights and crazy partying weekends for this girl.
