Marquita's Story
Life
My Spouse
I met him in the neighborhood that I live in. He was also a student at John Jay College
My Pets
My cat "Bigfoot" has six toes on one paw, hence , the name "Bigfoot". He is an orange at with not very much personality. He has mated with a female cat and has had 3 litters of kittens. He is cool, calm, and collective.
The fish, and snakes are all without much personality.
UPDATE 2009
Bigfoot died after 18 years of living with us. We now have Tigger who was 2 when we rescued him. He is a cat/dog. He does tricks and does not behave like a typical feline. WE LOVE HIM DEARLY! No more snakes and fish.
My Kids
My daughter, age 22 is graduating college this May. It has been a heart warming experience and she is majoring in business and computer information services. I am very proud of her. Now if anyone can use anb intern or a new college graduate E mail me PLEASE!!!
My 16 year old son is a sports enthusist and plays basketball and soccer for his high school in Massachusettes. He graudates next year and wants to major in Business.
My 12 year old son is Mr. Personality and loves everyone. Now if he can stay out of mischief everyone will be alright!

My Job
I investigate corruption in city agencies within the City of New York. I have worked there for 29 years.
School
I attended PS 84 elementary school and graudated and went to junior high school at Wagner JHS 167 for 3 years. We were forced to take German for those years. I have fond memories of roaming the halls and making out in the stairwell of Exit 9 with Owen. At the same time I was chasing after Bobby Gardner and infatuated with Claudio Guzman. WHEW! That was a mouthful. My partners in crime were Joanne Adams, Rita Bonner, Nancy Ball, Nona Haegan, Shawn Hart and several others. Some of the guys we were around with were Tony Parker (April's brother), Bishme Colon, Ronald Simpson and Carl from 106th STreet whose last name fails me. I am thinking maybe Weathers but not sure. For some reason I think that last name may be that of a actor.
From there I went to Kennedy High School where I sort of was in a daze for most of those years. I need not say more. Thankfully, I graudated from there in 1976. My best memories of course were from Wagner.
College
The colleges I attended were BMCC, John Jay College and later transferred to Marymount Manhattan College where I received my BA in Psychology with a minor in Social Work.
Workplace
I began working for the City of New York in 1979 and transferred over to DOI in 1980 and am currently still there. I am in middle management and not planning to retire for another 4 years. I investigate corruption in the five boroughs of NYC.
