Life I left home with what I thought was a wonderful man...Only to find out that he loved to beat his women. It is true an abuser does make his victim feel ugly and unworthy.I tried many times to leave but was threatened with death....and then finally one day after he had almost beaten me to death ,he went out with his buddies and I left with my 2 yr. old in my arms and a paper bag of clothes for my baby and one for me. I found a great job and we were living in Redondo beach , where I met my second husband.....that was great I had my second son and life was wonderful..until I found out that he was using drugs....I gave him the option drugs or his family...and he lied , and I left.... I am married now to a wonderful man we have been together for 15 years and I have two boys one 32 in the military proudly serving our country , and one 22 in college majoring in business...I have four great stepdaughters...Expand for more
