Marsha's Story

John and I have been married for 53 years. We've had a wonderful life. I retired from Verizon in 2003 and John retired from Pepco in 2008. We moved from Laurel, MD to Kearneysville, WV in June, 2008 and absolutely love it here. We moved to Harpers Ferry, WV in 2022. We have two daughters, Lynnette and Kimberly. Both are married to outstanding men and both have three children. We have been blessed with 4 grandsons age 21-27 years and 2 granddaughter...Expand for more
s ages 17 and 20 years. We are blessed with two Great Granddaughters, Mia age 5 and Rylee Kate age 4 and a great grandson, Ethan age 2. We are a very close family. Both of the girls and their families also moved to West Virginia in 2008. May all of you have a wonderful 2024. God willing we will celebrate our 54th Anniversary next June, 2024. The 50th Class Reunion was fabulous. Hope to see you at the 55th in Oct of '24. God bless each of you and yours.

Congratulations United 06 Soccer Club. They won all three games and captured the Jefferson Cup Championship in Richmond, VA this past weekend.

It is with great sadness that I tell you my beloved brother, Keith Carpenter, went to be with the Lord this morning. We certainly will miss him.

We are so proud of our granddaughter, Bria Savage , who signed an intent to play soccer for Bloomsburg University in PA. She's worked so hard since 4 years Old and her dream has become a reality.
