Marsha's Story
Life
I have worked at varioius jobs since high school. I married in 73, but for only 6 months. I met a lovely man in l975, but did not marry him until l981. We had 2 lovely daughters. We also have three grandchildren. They are great little people!! Both my husband and I commute to our jobs. I went to Gateway Technical College to study to become a surgical tech. I've worked in the two hospitals in Racine for about 10 years before work...Expand for more
ing with a group of cardiac surgeons. They had to let us go, due to health care expenses, and they secured jobs for us at St. Luke's Hospital in Milwaukee. I have been there since. I am looking forward to retiring, and doing things I dream of.
Workplace
I work at St. Luke's Hospital in Milwaukee. I commute from Racine. I am a surgical assistant, and I work with cardiac surgeons. I love my job, but I will love retirement even better!!!
