Marsha Jones:  

I am Marsha Barber. My cousins are Gina Moore, Gaylene & Timmy Barber. Some of my neighbors were Carl, Helen, Nadine and Janastine Lampkin, Elliott and Nedra Steward, Lonnie, Bennie, a girl, Frank and Minnie Boyd, Carolyn Cole, Chris & Tony Adams, Carmen and Tony Sanchez, Glen and Peggy McGhee, Ekis Walls, David and Paulette Hayes, etc. My dad is a minister and my mother in all the social organizations. I was a cheerleader at Central Jr. High school for wrestling like John McDuffy, Gary Harvey, Troy Farley, etc. Some of my cheerleading friends were Debbie Ott, Colleen Carmack. I was Queen at Central. I attended Hawthorne Irving most of my elementary years with Tom South, David Harney and Debbie Palos, attended Franklin when the city redistricted but that was short lived with Lois Bonds and others and was caught up in the Race riots at Rocky trying to walk home after a football game with neighbors Bobbie Collins, Debbie Dorman - Vernon Teagues's cousin, Freddie and Eddie Scott, etc. I bowl as a hobby along with Felisita Talley another school mate. And, we are still bowling but traveling and having big fun. I am in a club called, 50 and Fabulous with Sandy Perry, Gloria Wilson, Sheryl Mallard, Jackie Taylor, Debbie and Carolyn Moore, Janice and JoAnn Edwards and friends from nearby towns of Moline (Sandy Allen) and ...Expand for more
