Life I was born in Chicago but my dad joined the USAF three months later and that was the first of many moves. Here's where we lived: 1957 - 1960 Gulfport/Biloxi, MS 1960 - 1962 Injurlik, Turkey 1962 - 1966 Hampton, VA 1966 - 1968 Victorville, CA 1968 - 1972 RAF Bentwaters/Woodbridge, England 1972 - 1974 South Hadley, MA 1974 - 1975 Bellevue, NE After the 1974 Rose Bowl Parade trip with the South Hadley, MA High School band, we moved to Bellevue HS in Bellevue, NE. I attended the University of Nebraska (BA English/Political Science) and the Graduate School at Tulane (MA Latin American Studies) and traveled more until I alighted in Houston, TX. I started my real career at Lanier Worldwide as a customer support analyst. I spent 12 years installing/configuring/training customers on proprietary word processors, PCs, and LANS. When I hit the glass ceiling, I moved into technical writing. Currently, I'm a technical writer working contract mostly in the oil and gas industry. My life revolves around my miniature Poodle, Gabriel, our rescue toy Poodle, Manny, and my house, Bella.
