Marshall's Story

This ride of life is great fun. I have been all over the world and meet some of the most interesting people. I am thankful for the education I have received at St Andrews, in and out of the classroom. I have loved and lusted, both are fleeting. Yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery, today is live. s".) I live in downtown Savannah now. I still have a small farm in Ravenel, SC. My memory is shot but I am in good physical shape, the exceptions being less hair and more gray. I miss Charleston and Folly. I guess it is true what Thomas Wolfe said "You can't go back home to your family, back home to your childhood ... back home to a young man's dreams of glory and of fame ... back home to places in the country, back home to the old forms and systems of things which once seemed everlasting but which are changing all the time – back home to the escapes of Time and Memory." Best wishes, Marshall
